Today is International Day of Education (IDE), with this year prioritising climate education and environmental literacy. The day is also a celebration of a day to celebrate educators, students, and those dedicated to building a sustainable, inclusive and peaceful future through education.

The Climate Education Coalition, established at COP27, called upon COP28 to highlight universal climate education as a crucial aspect of combating the climate crisis. Over 100 signatories have signed an open letter asking the COP28 to ensure impactful climate education for everyone.
As part of the Climate Education Coalition, Earth.org pledged their willingness to collaborate with regional, national and global establishments of the COP28 UAE Presidency and United Nation member states (193) in order to effectively execute our missions.
